Agrace is hiring for a business intelligence developer / data analyst position in Madison, WI to assist in the design, development and support of the reporting data warehouse. Using cutting edge tools, this is a key position for the exciting BI journey on which Agrace recently embarked.Responsibilities: Duties include design and development of new data model requirements, ensuring data model builds align with design, validating data integrity, monitoring system performance, and delivering data and analysis requests. The role closely collaborates with operational functions throughout the organization.
As a data expert working in the new Snowflake data warehouse, the role is focused on helping to grow a solid data environment - from system design through implementation and on-going maintenance. The person in this role is a results-oriented change agent, collaborating with operational experts to collect, organize, and analyze data, providing insights, and developing reporting to support decision making and process improvement activities. There is a focus on developing easily-accessible, data-driven, decision support tools that clinical leaders can use in their roles in caring for patients.
The role is critical to the on-going promotion of data governance. Through participation on data governance initiatives and teams, the role helps to identify areas of opportunity, helps educate, and supports business partners to align with strategy, and actively participates in guideline and process review.

Great candidates are creative, curious, data-driven problem solvers, and detail-oriented with the ability to take a step back and view the big picture. SQL expertise is critical and required. Successful candidates have experience with data warehouse environments, reporting/visualization tools, and familiarity with data governance principles and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience that results in the required specialized knowledge
- Advanced SQL skills
- Understanding and experience with ETL/ELT and dimensional data warehouse architecture
- Reporting and visualization tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing platforms and tools such as Snowflake and Matillion, a plus
- Experience and certification in Epic Systems/Clarity, a plus
- Healthcare data experience, a plus
