Business Improvement's purpose is to enable our home office business areas to create sustainable improvement and innovative solutions so we may achieve service excellence.
Business Improvement sits within the Service division organization and partners with over 15 different departments on process improvement efforts to ensure the processes leveraged create a positive experience for our branch teams, clients, and associates.
As our firm transforms to meet our future client needs Business Improvement will play a critical role in helping leadership solve for the problems of the future, enable an efficient and effective operating system, and create capacity for new capabilities.

- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Series 7 and 66 or 63&65 is preferred.
- 7+ years' of significant industry and/or Edward Jones functional experience in increasingly responsible positions.
- Experience will include significant leadership experience and leadership of significant projects with success and demonstration of accomplishments in prior positions.
- Knowledgeable in process improvement disciplines including Lead Six Sigma tools and approaches.
- Knowledgeable of the firm's change management framework; process, tools, and resources
- Skilled at building broad networks across the firm to coordinate and remove barriers to collaboration.
- Strength in delivering the right results by making timely decisions and providing guidance to help leaders move work forward.
- High level of proactive verbal and written communication skills while interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Uses a variety of communication strategies to effectively communicate messages to diverse audiences and creates open channels of communication across department.
- Broad and significant understanding of major functions in the Service Division.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to Apply systems thinking to strategy and decision making.
- Ability to interpret interaction insights and leverage to tell the interactions "story" to key stakeholders throughout the firm.
