Business Development Rep – SuiteCloud Developer Network
NetSuite is seeking a Business Development Rep for the partner recruitment and management of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Located in Chicago, New York, or Boston, you will report to the Senior Manager of North America. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing new SaaS technology partners to NetSuite’s ISV program, the SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN). You will manage on-going relationships with the partners and are the go-to person for partner related questions from the NetSuite sales team and channel partners.
Key Attributes Needed for this Position:

Responsibilities:
·
Working with Product Management and the sales team, identify prospective partners for the verticals of focus
·
Approach identified ISVs and sell them on the benefits of partnering with NetSuite. Manage the entire business development track and bring partners on board.
·
Work with key partners to co-create and execute sales and marketing strategies. Report progress to leadership.
·
Build and maintain strong positive working relationships with the global SDN team, the direct and channel sales teams, and Product Development.
·
Develop long-term relationships with NetSuite reseller partners and consistently introduce them to SDN partners.
·
Be the single SDN point of contact within your area of expertise for NetSuite sales people and introduce them the appropriate SDN partners for their customer deals.
·
Conduct quarterly review of goals and plans with top ISV partners and take corrective action as needed.
·
Educate ISV partners on the effective use of all SDN program benefits.
Experience/Skills Required:
·
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ISV alliance management and channel or direct sales.
·
Experience with creating and building differentiated relationships with partners.
·
Strategic thinker who is able to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives.
Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner stakeholders, including senior level executives.
·
Highly motivated and independent contributor, high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business.
·
Experience with ERP (such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle) and CRM or eCommerce products and familiarity with a broad array of businesses and business processes.

Bachelor's degree or other significant business experience, MBA or technical degree is a plus.

A Business Development Manager must have a firm understanding of big-picture strategy and the ability to communicate and execute initiatives to add value internally and cross-organizationally. This role is assigned to strategic initiatives which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Product, Marketing, and Sales for NetSuite’s growth initiatives. Creates business opportunities for NetSuite growth through leveraging third-party partners. Develops and coordinates a relationship with Partners that establishes Oracle NetSuite as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle NetSuite's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive NetSuite’s position as the market leader.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Will have project lead role at times and also support team members at times. 5 - 7 years of progressively increased responsibilities in alliances preferred. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for solving business problems using technology and applications. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with multiple colleagues in a team selling environment. Business and technology implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Strong executive communication skills as well as a demonstrated success in establishing and developing broad, collaborative relationships.
