Job Description
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in New York as part of our Sales function. Your Role: As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating revenue from an assigned territory, primarily selling the WARC Marketing Effectiveness Platform into advertising agencies in North America. Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Build a robust pipeline based on a targeted pursuit strategy with contact mapping and a clear plan and engagement strategy for each target
  • Maintain and update a sales pipeline and monthly/annual revenue forecasts
  • Establish and conduct the necessary industry, institution and client research
  • Implement a structured and consultative approach to prospecting, and qualify potential clients
  • Present the WARC product and services with a high degree of professionalism to prospective clients
  • Ensure a high degree of attention to detail in all aspects of sales administration
  • Proactively identify opportunities to exploit developments or changes in the marketplace
  • Work with sales management to develop and write strategic sales plans, and execute stated goals and objectives
  • You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion
  • You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced
Your Experience
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Ability to identify, strategize and build new business opportunities
  • Persuasiveness, executive presence and outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for WARC’s content areas (marketing and advertising best practices)
  • Be a committed and effective team player
