Business Development Manager

Based in St. Louis, Provision Living currently operates 18 senior living communities in Missouri, Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Ohio, serving nearly 1,000 older adults.
Position Summary

You will be responsible for building and developing solid business-to-business relationships with the referral sources and will participate and lead the internal sales efforts as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Develop business-to-business relationships with the referral sources that would provide strong and steady pipeline of referrals
- Prospect for new referral sources on regular basis
- Implement, monitor and promote resident referral program
- Collect data from competition and make comparative quarterly analysis
- Identify new partners/businesses in the area for marketing purposes
- Analyze our strengths and weaknesses compared to the competition and come up with suggestions
- Assist in developing and/or implementing the Marketing Action Plan
- Assure that occupancy and sales are meeting and/or exceeding the goals
- Maintain a flexible schedule to work different hours
- Attend local Chambers of Commerce meetings and events for marketing purposes
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university and a minimum of 3 years related sales/account management experience and/or training (preferably in senior living)
Skills/Experience
- Must be passionate about sales and marketing
- Outstanding communications skills (written and verbal)
- Strong follow up and closing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must have proven leadership & teamwork skills
- Must have proven data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills
Travel
Employee must be able to travel 10% of the time.
