- Identifies innovative concepts by discovering and exploring opportunities, researching industry trends, related events, publications, and announcements…be a futuristic thinker, i.e. IoT, 5G, smart communities, urban and rural infrastructures, government funding programs, etc.
- Consistently researching open RFPs related to overall offerings within all divisions of the Central Texas Infrastructure business unit.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential and existing partners to discern if there is the possibility of business unit opportunities overlap.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, realization potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization's integrity by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- 4-Year business degree appreciated, but not required
- College of “life experiences and lessons learned”
- 3+ years proven track record in business development – specifically telecom/wireless industry
- Ability to build and sustain genuine relationships based on trust and respect
- In-depth knowledge of the telecom/wireless industry and its current events
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Solid comfort level with video communication
