Job Description:
The Business Development Executive/Chief of Staff is a senior executive supporting the execution of the strategy to increase collaboration between the Wealth Management businesses (The Private Bank and Merrill Private Wealth Management) and the Global Markets and GCIB lines of business. The Business Development Exec/Chief of Staff reports to Private Bank Vice Chair, Head of Wealth Management Advisory. To assist in driving the execution of the strategy, this individual will frequently interact with GWIM, Global Markets and GCIB senior leadership, as well as Enterprise senior management. As such, this executive should have the ability to leverage the existing business integration framework, to support and drive strategic opportunities to create and deepen business development between the firm's Ultra High Net Worth Clients and the broader enterprise. The executive will assist in the build-out of the collaboration and operating models to drive responsible growth, including managing analysts and directing the work required for execution, i.e. data analytics, creating customized pitch book materials, lead generation
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Wealth Management Advisory in strengthening the collaboration between the Wealth Management, Global Markets and GCIB
Drive business development by assisting in identifying new customer segments and deepening opportunities
Translate strategy into tactical actions required to drive responsible growth
Drive the day to day operations required to deliver on the strategy
Manage analysts and direct the work required to leverage and/or customize as applicable reporting, research and analytics to support the strategy

Demonstrated industry knowledge, e.g., clients, competitors, products, economics, regulations, policies.
Understand complexities and regulations associated with Private Side designation
Innovative with a well-developed sense of judgment
Ability to leverage tools and technology
Global Corporate and Investment Banking experience as COO or Investment Banker preferred
Management experience
Job requires the Series 99 (Operations Professional) and/or other qualified license as outlined by FINRA
