Business Development (BD) / Marketing Coordinator

EAC Consulting (EAC) is in need of a Business Development / Marketing Coordinator for its Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Orlando office. Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of database concepts.
• Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files.
• Basic knowledge of Engineering industry terminology.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills, verbal and technical writing (writing samples will be requested).
• Skills – graphics and branding capabilities.

• Ability to demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus, positive personal leadership and solid presentation skills.
• Ability to develop business, build consultative relationships, thrive in a team environment, and have effective networking skills.
• Ability to understand and comply with RFP/RLI requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment with multiple deadlines.

• Ability to work well with others, be self-motivated and flexible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Identifies and sources potential Business Development opportunities in line with the firm’s service and geographic objectives.
• Performs Customer Relationship Management (CRM) project database maintenance.
• Coordinates and prepares letters of response, technical proposals and presentations.
• Maintains marketing materials including resumes, project descriptions, photographs, etc.
• Works closely with other marketing and technical/engineering staff.
• Participates in industry events, marketing meetings, pre-proposal meetings etc.

• Detail oriented – pays close attention to typography, image quality and content accuracy.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in business development or related experience.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

EDUCATION:

• Equivalent of Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field.
