Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Primary Responsibilities:
Business and Policy Analyst providing business process improvement, policy analysis, strategy, research, and communications support to the Office of Trade client.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct business process analysis and improvement activities (such as gap analysis and root cause analysis) in support of high-priority and complex client modernization initiatives
Conduct research and analysis activities pertaining to policy, regulations/legislation, business practices, emerging technologies, and other areas
Prepare research reports, executive-level briefings, and issue papers for client leadership
Support the facilitation of working sessions, meetings, site visits, and focus groups
Develop communication/outreach products
Secondary Responsibilities:
Ability to convey concepts and processes graphically using professional graphics, infographics, and visuals
Strong business writer and communicator
Analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity
Ability to manage multiple priorities and quick-turn deliverables
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-based work environment
Ability to interact professionally and confidently with client leadership and executives
Ability to quickly learn and master complex concepts and terminology
Attention to detail
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Required Technologies: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
