About The Role:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our rapidly growing organization. The Business Analyst role will help to establish and leverage BPMN standards to build out service delivery processes and to document suitable business solutions/requirements. The successful candidate would have excellent communication skills and be able to produce documentation to a high-quality standard that may be written for various levels in the organization, from C-suite to developer. The right candidate for this role needs to have excellent attention to detail, and must have strong relationship-building skills, capable of establishing effective working relationships with clients and business representatives.
This is a highly collaborative role, and you will have the opportunity to partner across multiple business units to understand their needs, analyze current state and future state to determine gaps, and implement business solutions on time and according to budget, and that meet the business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the rollout of a Process Management Lifecycle framework, this includes developing and promoting end-to-end process internal marketing and training materials to better support business needs.
- Partner with Process Owners to document their processes (new and existing) which are aligned to their service delivery following the established BPMN standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining the governance and quality of a documentation repository and a Business Process database.
- Develop and identify areas for improvement related to current BPMN standards, i.e. process map, BPM deliverables, etc.
- Lead ongoing reviews of business process for optimization.
- Effectively collaborate with Project Manager and other project stakeholders to elicit, document, analyze, validate business requirements to develop project specific documents (FRD, BRD, systems workflows, etc.)
- Identify areas for improvement or increased efficiencies, potential issues and risks, and proactively share and communicate your findings related to PMO deliverables and documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 5 - 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Process Modeler/Designer.
- Strong use of Business Process Management Notations and standards, preferably BPMN 2.0 training or certification.
- Knowledge in Process Mapping and Business Process Re-engineering.
- Experience with process modeling tools (i.e.Navvia, ARIS, etc.).
- Ability to communicate with internal and external project managers, portfolio company management, on-site and remote teams, and the extended user community to drive day-to-day initiatives, and research and recommend strategic directions and solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business requirements, business processes and workflows.
- Experience with all stages of business analysis and project implementation lifecycles.
- Experience with leading and facilitating workshops and focus groups.
- Knowledge of Lean principles.
- Skilled in developing business requirements, developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations.
- Experience utilizing and detailing requirements for Enterprise Systems (D365), HRIS solutions leveraging Workday, CRM applications, and modern cloud infrastructures.
- Additional enterprise business application platforms (SharePoint Online, Data warehouse, Business Intelligence/Visualization Reporting tools, etc.).
- High level of competence with MS Office and MS Visio.
