SUMMARY
The Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluation, design, and implementation of best practice business processes. This position will assess and monitor the quality and evaluate the returned value of improvements implemented by the business teams by developing and reviewing utilization reports analyzing data related to workflow, processes, and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS will include the following:
The key responsibilities of the Business Analyst are to lead, coordinate, monitor and support quality and efficiency projects and activities to ensure continuous best practices. This role will also provide quality improvement of business processes which include:
- Observing business areas to capture and create step by step process maps.
- Utilizing data captured from process maps and perform statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvements to business area processes.
- Facilitating sessions with the business to review and gain approval on detailed process maps and share opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating the implementation and deployment of new and enhanced processes.
- Partnering with leaders to make decisions regarding project selection and prioritization using operational key performance indicators.
- Conducting on-going research of industry best practices identifying internal opportunities.
- Analyzing existing workflows and perform benchmark gap analysis.
- Developing process documentation, work instructions and other tools to support process execution.
- Working with front-line staff, identifying improvement opportunities and assisting employees on working more efficiently.
- Measuring and monitoring improvements across the business and perform analytics to determine level of impact and use outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining actionable reports and dashboards supporting business decisions.
- Interacting with cross functional groups, such as IT, Marketing, Finance, and Transportation to ensure people and processes are working in a coordinated fashion towards achieving completion of agreed upon projects.
- Implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement principles within the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of Industry Experience
- Strong analytical and report development skills; knowledge of SQL, R or similar data and reporting languages a plus
- Strong facilitator, confident communicator with diverse audiences
- Lean or Six Sigma Belt experience is a plus
- Visio experience is a plus

This position will typically work in a climate control office environment.
