ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Service Insights team is responsible for developing analytics-driven solutions to help GM digital functions achieve their business goals. The team is responsible for applied, project-based solutions, focusing on the dealership's service lane customer journey. These projects include opportunities to solve problems using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization.
The Business Analyst possesses understanding of the customer journey, measurement, and strategic insight. They must be able to work efficiently with large data sets to derive insights and answer business questions through a data driven approach. They will work cross-functionally and collaboratively, leading data and analytic integration across web/platform operations and performance related analysis and modeling.

Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Proactively work with key stakeholders to help them identify OKRs for key customer-journey funnel activities
- Support digital team - Service Appointments, Service Communications, Service Events - with a variety of analytical projects.
- Develop interactive dashboards with intuitive visualizations
- Clearly communicate analysis and recommendations to executive leadership
- Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to formulate business opportunities and validate OKRs
Demonstrated Experience:
- 3+ years' experience working with multi-functional teams to develop measurable, high-impact data analytics solutions
- Demonstrated cross-functional understanding of digital platforms and measurement, including online, mobile, gaming, social and emerging technologies
- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
- Highly collaborative work style with exceptional listening and communication skills, and the ability to work closely and iteratively with analytic modelers, business subject matter experts, and other teams
- Proficient in project management and oversight with the ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals
- Effective in building trust, respect, and cooperation among teams
- Proven thought-leadership in developing data-based strategic and tactical recommendations
- A consumer-centric, results-driven mindset
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of service lane data and the ability to transform it to make strategic decisions.
- Experience in data visualization and statistical modeling tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, R)
- Proficiency with online and offline data
