Business Analyst, Data

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced data analyst with knowledge of the asset management business This person should experience in analyzing, designing and defining data sets and the data processing as part of an enterprise data architecture. They will need to be able to present and analyze multiple conceptual data schemas as well as provide guidance in the translation to the physical layer. The analysts will have to lead meetings with the business community and collect requirements. In many situations they may have to demonstrate insight to ask the leading questions to elicit information. The resource will be responsible for documenting requirements and participating in the design of the end state solution. The analyst should have data modeling expertise as well the ability to perform in data analysis/profiling.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of Asset Management business data analysis experience

• Ability to analyze data and perform in depth data analysis and write SQL

• Work across multiple technology teams, provide assistance to query construction and provide insight into data platform capabilities

• Business analysis experience

• Manage time independently, work independently and manage multiple open work streams at the same time

• Written and verbal communication

• Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization

• Data modelling experience is a nice to have

• Ability to optimize queries is a nice to have
