As a Business Analyst in our Consumer Research and Insights team, you will play a critical role in serving as the “headlights” for Nordstrom, illuminating the needs of our customers and helping Nordstrom live one of our core values: being customer obsessed. A day in the life…

This Analyst will be instrumental in contributing to the measurement insights function at Nordstrom. The ideal Analyst is motivated, results oriented and committed to being a trusted source of customer truth – supporting the process of providing our Nordstrom leadership with the insights, perspective, and outlook to drive informed business decisions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Be the company expert in managing, reporting, and identifying opportunities to drive value from our vendor supported text analytics platform. The scope of this work will include customer feedback both from experience surveys and product reviews.
  • Support day-to-day vendor management for the text analytics program
  • Lead ongoing leadership insights reporting from the customer experience tracking program
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver custom reporting & insights to drive business results

You own this if you have…

  • At least 4 years of experience in consumer research, consulting, analytics, or related field. Bachelor’s degree, with advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience utilizing quantitative/qualitative data including financial, surveys, web analytics, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience of analyzing complex data to create a compelling story to stakeholders and key business leaders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Passion for and understanding of fashion retail required; retail experience preferred
