Bus Driver (Part-time)

Creative Kids Learning Center is looking for a skilled and spirited person to join our teaching staff

Required:

• Valid Drivers License
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written form

Responsibilities Include:

• Transporting children safely to and from school each day
• Grocery shopping for the center
• Ensuring all vans maintain proper fuel levels
• Maintain cleanliness of vans (inside and out)
• Assist lead teachers in transporting children for fieldtrips
• Use only positive early childhood guidance strategies to instruct children.
• Remain aware of all surroundings in and outside the day care and report or correct unsafe conditions promptly.
• Comply with state licensing and accreditation regulations for childcare centers.
• Work with our team to achieve the childcare center’s goals.
• Present a welcoming attitude towards prospective families who tour the day care center. Engage them in conversation about their child’s education, and the features and benefits of our early childhood programs.
• Attend day care training, center staff meetings, and other professional development initiatives as required.

This position is a split shift. The ideal candidate will be able to work from 7:30 am to 9:30 am and 230pm to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.

Pay: $12.00 - $21.00 per hour
