New Rochelle, NY and Moehgan Lake, NY assisted living facilities seeking a FULL TIME, experienced Building Manager to work with the administrator, the Environmental Services director and the Food Service director to ensure the building is running at optimum levels. This is a hands-on position. This is a permanent - direct hire position.
Summary:
The Building Manager is responsible for oversight of the Maintenance, Dietary and Housekeeping departments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspect the grounds, public areas and resident rooms for appearance and cleanliness
Ensure company standards for housekeeping, dietary and maintenance are met
Ensure the quality of products used in each department matches the overall feel of the facility
Ensure the director of each department is performing according to their job description
Assist the administrator in the inspection of the building focusing on the maintenance, dietary and housekeeping departments.
Oversee the training of new hires in maintenance, dietary and housekeeping
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree and three years of relevant work experience. Strong coordination skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, accurate record keeping, computer skills. Experience in healthcare a plus. Experience in hotel management a plus.
