BUFFET HOST/HOSTESS

Greets restaurant guests with a positive friendly attitude. Assures patrons are seated in a timely manner assuring that guest have a favorable dining experience.

• Great the guest and escort them to their tables in a friendly, professional manner.

• Make sure that the room is properly utilized at all times.

• Keep front-of-the house organized and running smoothly.

• Must have complete knowledge of buffet, policies and procedures; complete knowledge of buffet amenities.

• Teamwork oriented mindset is a must.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least 1 year experience as a host and/or customer service.

• One year restaurant experience preferred.

• Knowledge of alcohol awareness. Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.

• Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
