JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Broadcast Technical Director is responsible for displaying the content that shows on the I-Mag screens and streaming during the services at Lakewood Church. They will also be in rotation as video switcher operator (TD) as well as Video Director during church services and other Lakewood Church video productions.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Broadcast & Production.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• In the role of Content Operator:
  • Responsible for the lyric and playback content during the services at Lakewood Church, which includes, but is not limited to song lyrics, name lower third graphics, sermon notes (scriptures, points, pictures, etc.)
  • Ensure that the content is loaded, tested and ready before each service
• In the role of TD:
  • Responsible for all sub-switching of video walls, studio monitors, applications and equipment used to manipulate video and graphics on these devices
  • Operate production switcher with multiple Mix Effect (ME) banks and Digital Video Effects (DVE) capability and understand the working of the video/audio router
• Understanding of the production process of Joel Osteen Ministries
• Other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated Christ like Character
• Knowledge of ProPresenter, Mac OS
• Working knowledge of video production switchers with mix/digital video effects
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently and be self-motivated

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of experience as Technical Director
• 2 years of TV Production experience
