Brand Communications Coordinator

As we take our business into the next 50 years, we have identified the need to focus on telling our story and connecting with our customers. As the Brand Communications Coordinator, you will help build the company’s brand and online communities.

Brand Communications Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Brand Management – Create, manage, and implement brand guidelines for each brand, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Design brand documents and brochures.
  • Copywriting - Writing and editing for website, marketing materials, internal communications, newsletters, and more.
  • Public Relations – Create, manage, and maintain relationships with media partners and sharing press releases regarding company news. Manage community events and shows.
  • Website management - Update website specs, contribute to web development projects, write resources/blogs, and create engaging web content.
  • Advertising - Select aligned and high-level advertising opportunities to maximize brand exposure and drive web traffic. Responsible for writing ad content, creating graphics, measuring value, and coordinating campaigns in accordance to launches/department goals.
  • Email Marketing - Create and send a monthly newsletter to brand community. Update automatic email subscriptions, initiate email campaigns, and manage contact lists.
  • Content Management and Production - Coordinate content production and manage content files externally and internally.
  • Partnership Management - Research, assess, and manage partnership opportunities. Coordinate partnership agreements, logistics, paperwork, and incoming deliverables.
  • Ambassador Program Development - Manage and develop the new Ambassador program. This includes managing incoming applicants, selecting the best to move forward, creating profiles, sharing results with the marketing team, and accepting top applicants. Ambassadors that bring value to the brand and community.

  • Community Strategy Development – Establish key brand differentiators from competitors. Seek out and analyze new platforms to better engage with our target market.

Qualifications:

  • Creative writing experience that is agile and able to adapt to the distinct tones of multiple brands
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of the outdoor recreation industry
  • 5 years marketing and communications experience
  • Brand development experience
  • Creative design experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite + Analytics
  • UX design experience
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Project management experience
  • Online forum administration experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
