Type: EXEMPT / SALARY / OFFICER position, with salary dependent on experience
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Description:
As a Citizens Bank Branch Manager you will oversee the daily activities of the branch and all employees, including other officers. In addition to having consumer and commercial lending responsibilities, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong long-lasting relationships with customers. You will work as a team member responsible for exceptional customer service standards along with operational soundness and revenue generation.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for supervision and leadership, both indirect and direct, of all Branch staff.
- Champion and model the Citizens Bank Corporate Culture for team members, customers, and community.
- Complete marketing outreach activities necessary to reach Branch goals.
- Develop an annual budget and assure Branch profitability at or above budgeted levels.
- Increase, improve, and maintain quality lending and deposit relationship portfolios for the Branch.
- Coordinate and participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of branch and central operations procedures.
- Lead the Branch in the Citizens Bank Corporate Culture and be the “go to” banker in the community.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other banking regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior bank or credit union branch management experience preferred.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Physical requirements: Mobility to call on customers at their location as well as the Branch. May maneuver bags/boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. May use hands for repetitive actions, bend and squat occasionally.
