Job Description

Commodore Realty is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper for shopping centers working at our office located in Key Biscayne, Fl. Submit your resume to be considered for an initial phone interview.

Commodore Realty, Inc., is a full-service Real Estate office that offers commercial leasing, property management, brokerage and Real Estate consulting services. Commodore Realty's portfolio consists primarily of grocery anchored shopping centers in Florida.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, Collections, Cash Balances, Assist with CAM, insurance and real estate tax billing/posting/collections, opening new bank accounts/closing bank accounts, as well as general accounting and administrative duties. Prepare spreadsheets, bill, post data in Yardi. Tenant Receivables/Collections - make collection calls to all Tenants with unpaid balances/collect all balances within required timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 3-year experience in accounting
  • Financial acumen and reporting abilities are critical
  • Yardi experience (preferred)
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Fluent English (Spanish a plus)

Compensation: $20/hour plus overtime, bonus of up-to $5,000.00, benefits include medical insurance.

Schedule: M-F from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
