Job Description

Graber Supply, one of the leading Pole Barn and Building Supply companies on the East Coast, is hiring a key team member to join the back-of-house staff. With a wide range of responsibilities, this fun and exciting role has exposure to most areas of this small yet growing business and its Executive Team. The ideal candidate brings a variety of skills and is a detail-oriented taskmaster. Some accounting/Bookkeeping experience is required, a positive proactive attitude is paramount.

Responsibilities

Accounting/Bookkeeping Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing for a small business team.
  • AR responsibilities and credit card reconciliations
  • AP responsibilities include payroll taxes, sales tax, quarterly taxes, expense reports, and vendor payments.
  • Order processing and management of material orders.
  • Bank deposits and reconciliations

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls and greeting customers with a positive attitude and customer service mindset.
  • Process delivery paperwork
  • Invoice management and clerical duties
  • Report generation for ownership inclusive of tax estimations, W-2/1099s, sales, and customer feedback.
  • Proactive organizational skills and office supply management
  • Additional duties assigned by management

Candidate Qualifications

  • A customer service mindset and commitment to being a contributing member of the Graber Supply team.
  • An “Accounting is cool” attitude
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or relatable field.
  • Experience with reporting, materials management, and/or office management
  • Administrative Assistant experience required, executive assistant experience preferred, but not required
  • Tech and computer savvy; comfortable with programs such as Microsoft Office, email, telephone systems, and order placement software. Moderate to advanced Excel abilities preferred.

Office hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Flexibility with regard to working hours available)

Open to part-time (25-30 hours) or full-time (40 hours)

Compensation: $17 - $22 Per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
