Job Description
We are recruiting for a full-time Boiler Technician Trainee position at INDECK Power Equipment. Boiler Technician Trainee is responsible for trouble-shooting and repairing Industrial Mechanical Boilers involving physical handling of product, machinery supplies and equipment.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Have knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Having a working knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, burners (gas, oil & combination), associated controls & electrical circuits, combustion, and associated piping systems is a plus.
- Having a background of working on industrial boiler/burner systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Strong ability to problem solve.
- Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety requirements.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
- Computer knowledge preferred.
- Familiar with instrumentation and controls is a plus.
- Detailed oriented.
- Good with basic math.
- Able to work in team environment.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; two more years related experience and/or training
