Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC), is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Shop Service Technician. The role of the Body Shop Service Technician is to perform heavy-duty mechanical repair under general supervision, receive on the job training in a development program to achieve Shop Foreman status.
- Performs skilled and complicated body work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimum supervision.
- Performs trouble shooting on major problems.
- Works with and helps train apprentice technicians.
- Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and properly handling of company tools.
- Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
- Maintains favorable relations with customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- CDL preferred.
- Minimum of three years experience or vocational training in heavy duty truck repair.
- Positive can do attitude.
- A/C and Brake Certification.
- Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
