We are a faced paced and growing Miami law firm located in Palmetto Bay, Florida and we are looking for someone to fill our open Case Manager position. Our ideal Case Manager will thrive inside our systems-based firm, must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and “not my job” should not be part of your vocabulary. Thinking-ahead to pave the way for efficient case resolution and caring about the firm’s relationship with its clients is both good business and second nature for our ideal candidate.

A Day in the Life

• Manage, investigate and help resolve claims.

• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, damages and help settle claims.

• Communicate with clients, witnesses in order to gather information regarding claims.

• Update files and provide reports as required.

• Review medical records and draft demand letters.

• Negotiate settlements with insurance company claims handlers.

• Acting in order of priority to keep all cases moving towards settlement.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills required.

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Basic knowledge of legal liability, general insurance policy coverage and Florida Tort Law.
