POSITION SUMMARY

As a BIM Support Specialist, you’ll get to take your love for computers and technology and help support our BIM department as we build incredible buildings and systems. This role offers the opportunity for work along side of a wonderful team of people who are willing to train, develop and help you grow your career.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll work on BIM administration activities, such as document control, uploading and downloading and the maintenance of files.
• You’ll support various design-related software applications, like Autodesk, CADMep and Navisworks.
• You’ll get to troubleshoot and solve problems and use your research skills to find answers to questions
• You’ll learn how to develop BIM workflows, research new technologies and gain a stronger understanding of how BIM is integral to the construction design process

What you’ll need to be successful:

• You are motivated and have a desire to learn and seek out new information proactively
• You have the ability to find creative solutions to technical problems
• When you communicate, you’re well spoken both verbally and in writing. You have a knack for communicating technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• You like to keep things organized and enjoy being able to follow and create documented procedures and processes
• You are quick to provide support and be available to assist our BIM folks with their technology needs.
• While it would be nice if you had software knowledge of Autodesk products such as Revit and AutoCAD and a familiarity with Autodesk’s 3ds Max Design, Autodesk CADmep, Autodesk Navisworks, MEPCAD Autosprink and/or Camtasia Studio experience, it’s not necessary. We can and will train you.
• Associates Degree preferred and/or 0-2 applicable years of experience working with computers and software programs.
