The Role


We are looking for an experienced Billing Lead to help lead a small team of Remote billing professionals in a shared service environment. In this role, you will lead, train and mentor a remote team to solve problems, provide excellent customer service, improve processes, and produce high quality financial deliverables.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Lead a team (5-7) Virtual employees supporting specific North American businesses.

  • Responsible for the monitoring the billing team to meet deliverables for assigned businesses.

  • Review and verify the accuracy of contract administration, Billing, and revenue recognition monthly.

  • Analyze Billing reports and records, ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX/internal controls, and corporate policies.

  • Review Processes are being followed to reduce errors within the team.

  • Validate the accuracy of various financial statements and reports needed for internal/external audits.

  • Analyze and resolve complex billing errors and recommend controls.

  • Assist Billing Supervisor with special projects.

  • Support the monthly close process and ensure that all assigned activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

  • 3+ years billing experience.

  • 1+ years of experience leading a team

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.

  • Strong organizational & analytical skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Prior experience in software industry preferred.

  • Ability to effectively lead a remote team.

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ,Oracle, Great Plains and Salesforce preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Proficiency in Power BI preferred.
