POSITION TITLE: Billing Credentialing Specialist
PROGRAM NAME: NWHS Billing Department

YOUR ROLE at NWHS*
The Billing Credentialing Specialist is responsible for accurately and timely enrolling NWHS providers with insurance plans and credentialing groups. The Billing Credentialing Specialist will initiate enrollment and review, track and monitor approval through expiration. You will ensure timely and accurate enrollment of providers and agency with various insurance plans and credentialing groups to ensure complete compliance. As part of your job you will independently research and resolve enrollment, contracting, and/or credentialing related issues. You will work with the Billing department staff and providers to resolve enrollment, contracting, and/or credentialing related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS*
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous medical billing experience preferred.
- Have a basic understanding of accounting principles as they pertain to charges, adjustments and payments.
- Must have the ability to and handle medical information/records in a confidential manner.
- Able to interact courteously with patients, staff, and insurance carrier representatives.
