Billing Clerk

Serenity is hiring currently hiring for a Billing Clerk. The primary responsibility is to ensure that mail is received, sorted and distributed daily for the billing team. This position is critical to the efforts of our billing team, ensuring that filing and basic clerical work is in order and distributed accurately to the Billing team members. This position will also take phone calls to support our member's and patients with billing questions.

What You’ll Do

• Basic office skills (Filing, Photocopying, faxing and transcribing).
• Respond to phone calls answering basic billing questions from Providers and patients
• Order office supplies
• Receive and open mail and prepare bank deposits
• Distribute mail and deliveries

What We are Looking For

• Ability to file documents electronically
• Some knowledge of medical billing
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to talk with both providers and members
• Ability to be positive, friendly and deliver on tasks assigned
