Company Description
Through a combination of growth and acquisitions, the Silvi Group Companies have collectively become one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of concrete products in the Northeast, US. Today, the Silvi Group manufactures concrete at multiple locations and supplies those plants with materials from its own mining operations and deep-water port facility.
Position Essential Functions Responsibilities
- Work within industry specific software prep delivery tickets for invoicing
- Balance production to invoicing units
- Initial preparation of data for invoicing
- Aid in reconciling AR for credit memos
- Various other general AR duties to backup other employee’s functions
- Utilization of MS Excel and Word for reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience in the accounting field, additional experience is preferred
- Must be willing to undergo a credit check
- General understanding of accounting flow to GL
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to learn industry specific software
- Excellent computer skills
- Social skills to work with both internal and external customers / contacts
- Very organized
- Hard working and dependable
