Job Description
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
The behavior clinician manager will assess behavioral strengths/needs of individuals served and write behavior support plans. The behavior clinician manager is responsible to train staff on implementation of the plan, assess implementation of the plan, monitor ongoing individual behavioral issues, and coordinate behavioral training/needs assessments. The Behavior Manager is responsible for oversight of all Behavior Clinicians. The behavior clinician manager is responsible for the oversight of all behavior services and employees in the program.
HOURS:
- Role has flexibility of where you start and flex your schedule
- Traditionally hours are anywhere: 830am- 5pm Monday-Friday
- On Call Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Behavioral Clinician Manager will provide all areas of supervision to the Behavior Team including hiring, coaching, evaluations, schedules and payroll.
- Behavioral Clinician will be assessing behavioral strengths/needs for our individuals served
- Writing Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) specific to individual needs
- Making periodic visits to the individual's home to observe implementation of the plan
- Training staff on implementation of the plan and assessing implementation of the plan
- Monitoring ongoing individual behavioral issues
- Coordinating behavioral training/needs assessments
- Responsible to develop new business growth

Qualifications
Qualifications
To be approved to provide behavioral support services as a Level 2 clinician, an applicant shall meet the following requirements: Either: have a master’s degree in
- Clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or another applied health service area of psychology; special education; social work; or counseling
OR
- Be a licensed marriage and family therapist licensed under IC 25-23
- Be a licensed clinical social worker under IC 25-23
- Be a licensed mental health counselor under IC 25-23
five (5) years of experience in devising, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans- Prefer a Licensed Social Worker
- This position must maintain annually 10 hours of continuing education hours related to the practice of behavioral support.
