Overview:
Trellis is now hiring a Behavior Analyst in Perry Hall, MD!Trellis Services, a division of Learn Behavioral, is a progressive and innovative agency that provides comprehensive services for children with autism. Trellis Services ABA Program provides services in a clinic in Sparks, MD, in addition to community and home environments. The BCBA Supervisor will support clients ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years old and be a part of our in-home services team.
Our defining goal at Trellis is to teach children that learning is a fun, playful, and interactive experience. The role of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide behavioral intervention programs in home, community, and school settings for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. The BCBA also supports the Trellis mission through conducting descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments.Responsibilities:
The BCBA conducts field visits, develops client goals, reviews data and monitors client progress, periodically video records client sessions for supervision, makes program modifications as needed, provides parent training and education, and conducts regular team meetings. The BCBA also monitors staff competency and performance through collection of fidelity and reliability data, assessment of staff competencies, and provision and monitoring of staff professional development goals.

- Participates in team meetings as needed
- Conducts functional behavioral assessments and developmental assessments and writes progress reports
- Develops treatment plans based on the principles of ABA to address communication, feeding, behavior, ADLs, and social skills
- Designs data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress on treatment plan objectives and modifies treatment plans as necessary
- Provides 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community-based environments
- Mentor, train, and support Behavior Technicians
- Trains family members on implementing the treatment plan
- Ensures that the child is in a safe and positive environment at all times
- Follows the policies and procedures of Trellis
- Supervision based on 10:1 ratio of team hours
- Performs other duties as assigned*
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required- Master’s degree is required
- Clinical experience in the field of ABA
- Exceptional professional, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and vocal)
- Effective team player
- Reliable, positive, enthusiastic, flexible, hard working
- Experience needed in Applied Verbal Behavior (VB)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with children with autism, other developmental disabilities, and behavioral problems
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and train others independently
