The BY YOUR SIDE Manager – ABA Development is responsible for providing and overseeing standardized, high quality training for the ABA department.

The Manager- ABA Development is also responsible to perform all responsibilities as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This includes the evaluation, creation, and implementation of ABA Therapy plans, accurate and reliable data collection, consultation, and training with family and staff. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address all behavioral and skill acquisition needs of the clients.


Job Description

  • Provide continuing education to staff on behavior analytic content and company policies during weekly ABA meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • Manage interns and BCBAs within the ABA Internship program
  • Responsible for all RBT training and documentation by following the BACB requirements
  • Oversee standardized, new hire training for ABA staff that follows BYS procedures
  • Provide initial and ongoing clinical training for BCBAs, in collaboration with the Manager - ABA Delivery
  • Brings forward ABA resources and informational materials for continuing education at local trainings and outreach efforts
• Provide training and oversight of the ABA Training Specialist’s job responsibilities. • In collaboration with Manager - ABA Delivery, the Manager - ABA Development will oversee the initial and ongoing training of ABA staff, create schedule/curriculum for ABA Meetings, maintain inventory of continuing education, orientation, training, and outreach resources, and hold supervisors accountable for adhering to internship procedures.
Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree required in relevant field from an accredited University.
  • Must be a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience conducting ABA Therapy working with children with autism.
  • Completion of 8-hour online, competency-based training module on BACB experience standards.
  • CPI certification preferred or will train on site.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified preferred or will train on site.
  • Completion of documentation for all pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports and progress reports.
