Job Description

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Server will provide excellent customer service to all guests at both on-site and off-site locations, in a timely manner and with a positive attitude.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
  • Provide excellent service to all Rich's guests
  • Knowledge of the menu in order to provide proper descriptions to guests
  • Setup and break down of tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware and glassware; clean and polish silverware / glassware
  • Clear and clean all tables, work areas, or other areas utilized in a professional manner according to proper procedures
  • Ability to carry trays of food or beverages
  • Perform all necessary set up and side work as directed at the beginning of the shift
  • Bartend or assist bartenders when needed
  • Maintain exemplary food handling and safety and operation practices
  • Proper handling of all Rich's Catering equipment
  • Load, and unload catering trucks and vans for Off-site events
  • Proper communication and a timely response for availability and scheduling
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with serving prepared food to customers
  • Direct customer service experience
  • Bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to work various shift primarily nights/weekends
  • Able to work shifts up to 10 plus hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
  • Work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with the ability to troubleshoot
  • Wages for banquet server $21/hour
