Job Description
. 2+ years of people management experience in billing, pricing, accounting, finance, or a similar discipline.
AWS’s growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide sales team and has the need for a process improvement champion who will proactively own operational excellence in the private pricing space. This will include improving multiple existing defined processes as well as designing new streamlined processes, removing manual steps by driving automation; while ensuring data integrity within our systems, and communicating frequently with various teams. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, a strategic long term thinker, have the ability to drive multiple process improvements simultaneously, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly changing environment.

Private pricing contracts help deliver business value by ensuring all custom terms in our custom agreements are implemented and enforced appropriately. This is a wonderful opportunity to help build the future of AWS pricing processes to better service our customers while ensuring all private pricing customers receive the benefit of their contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
. Lead team of Pricing Analysts managing private pricing for thousands of AWS customers.
- Define process and system requirements and drive standardized communication and documentation.
- Drive continuous process improvement for processes relating to private pricing.
- Develop process SOPs and communication strategy with stakeholders
- Communicate daily with cross functional teams including Sales, Strategic Customer Engagement, Product Teams and Custom Pricing leadership to ensure all contracts are implemented appropriately.
- Have background in billing, operations, process design, process implementation, or process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through.
- Experience in lean methodologies (Kaizen, Green Belt Six Sigma).
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
