Currently, RG is looking to hire a Call Center Specialist/Programmer to support a premier telecom client in Washington, DC. On a daily basis, the programmer will support a high-volume VoIP rollout, configuring Avaya solutions and programming in System Manager and Session Manager. The Call Center Specialist/Programmer will be responsible for a Lab environment, as well as the Staging Center that will support the Enterprise VoIP rollout. The Call Center Specialist/Programmer will also support moves, adds, and changes on an as-needed basis for various upgrades and configurations of existing VOIP and Avaya systems, including, but not limited to Communications Manager, Session Manager and Avaya Aura Messaging and CC Elite Contact Centers. The Call Center Specialist/Programmer will also assist in developing deployment guides to identify and capitalize on efficiencies in the Enterprise VOIP Rollout.
Required Skills
A Consultant is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.
Required Experience
To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.
- BA/BS Degree (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree with client permission)
- 8+ years of Telecommunications experience (specifically with Avaya VOIP systems and SIP)
- 6+ years of Avaya software troubleshooting and support
- Strong SIP UC/CC architecture understanding
- Avaya Certifications
- Active Top Secret clearance (US Citizenship required)
