Automotive Quick Lane Technician

***We are currently searching for a candidate able to work an 8:30am-5:30pm shift M-F. Starting pay $11-$13 per hour based on experience level. Additional spiff pay available for specialized jobs performed. Prior experience in automotive maintenance/repairs strongly preferred.***

The Automotive QuickLane Technician is responsible for performing routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations. An understanding of engines is essential, and prior automotive experience is strongly preferred. Training is provided, however a base understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures is necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• Performing oil change services, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures, etc.
• Performing safety, general service inspections identifying fluid leakage, tire wear, service light identification and routine maintenance
• Flushing and servicing of all fluid operated or containing systems
• Drive belt, coolant hose and light bulb replacements
• Ability to lift and carry tires
• Basic brake inspection of pad and shoe wear, rotor and drum wear limits, fluid leakage
• Communicating with service advisor of needed safety repairs or maintenance

Minimum Requirements

• Base level knowledge of common automotive maintenance procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record clear of major violations
