SUMMARY
Assists the Office Manager by processing accounting data for all dealership departments
EXPERIENCE
- One year experience in an accounting field preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists all other office positions as needed.
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the time they are put on hold.
- Reports new deals sold daily
- Clean WIP weekly
- Verifies all PO’s and submits to corporate AP/AR department.
- Independently reconciles daily deposit and prepares deposit for bank as needed.
- Performs duties relative to dealer trades
- Assigns stock #
- Assigns F&I number if applicable
- Makes deal jacket and key tags
- Books accounting in CDK
- Holds paperwork for incoming unit, MSO, check, EZ transfer until receives paperwork from incoming unit
- Signs titles as needed
- Breaking down deals
- Sending funding packets to banks
- Cut payoff checks
- Stock in used car purchases into accounting
- Cut any used car purchase checks
- Send funded deals over to title office after verifying title checklist
- Backup cashier/ receptionist
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Pleasant and clear speaking voice.
- Ability to work well with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to type and operate a computer and/or cash register accurately.
- Ability to deductive reason.
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk the showroom floor if needed.
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.
- Must have close and distance vision.
