Job Description
Overview: Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services by assessing and treating neonate, infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric hearing, balance and communication disorders, under the supervision of a Doctor of Audiology. Will report to Supervising Audiologist, Practice Manager & Clinical Manager.Responsibilities:

- Defines patient hearing impairment and balance disorder by conferring with referring physician, selecting and administering electrophysiological and other relevant tests, operating diagnostic equipment, determining type and degree of hearing impairment and effects on comprehension and speech, interpreting audiometric diagnostic data, preparing written diagnostic reports.
- Provides treatments, fitting for hearing aid and other assistive devices.
- Provides auditory evaluations to assess and treat hearing loss.
- Assess and diagnose dysfunction in hearing, auditory function and vestibular balance.
- Assess and treat patients with tinnitus.
- Evaluate and fit patients for amplification and assistive listening devices.
- Provide patients with counseling and training regarding the use of amplification and assistive listening devices.
- Referral of patients to physicians when hearing problem needs surgical or medical attention.
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; participating in research programs; evaluating new equipment, devices, and techniques.
