As our next A/V Tech in our South Region, you would be onsite daily working under the guidance of a team lead and /or superintendent to install various types of commercial A/V solutions.

Requirements include but not limited to:

  • 1+ Year verifiable experience in A/V Installations
  • Basic computer skills: working knowledge in Excel, Outlook and other industry related programs
  • Any CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Extron or other vendor certs a plus
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team or with minimal supervisor after given direction
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform physical duties in the field including lifting, climbing ladders and working machinery
  • Requires occasional travel and flexible schedule with seasonal extended hours and variable shifts
  • Basic understanding of primary technical lingo and common technical techniques needed to properly install
  • Basic exposure to and understanding of plans and specifications
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • A demonstrated commitment to highly professional and ethical standards in a diverse workplace
  • Excellent people skills; open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job done
  • Ability to remain calm, focused and effective under time pressure situations
  • Eagerness to learn and grow skills
  • Positive attitude

Other Requirements

  • Able to pre-hire pass background check, DMV check, and drug and alcohol test
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces, and carry 50+ lbs
  • Flexible schedule for varying and long shifts including some Saturdays or overnight travel
  • Must not have any convictions preventing school contractor status (Senate Bill 9 / Texas Penal Code 5)

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
