Job Description

The Operations Director is responsible for driving strategic growth for the brand and upholding the highest brand standards for the company in its weekend and weekday youth Sports leagues. This includes ensuring the i9 Sports customer experience is executed on the field, preparing for upcoming seasons with efficiency, providing continuous training to all PT staff members, working with a team to create schedules, and marketing to create growth in the territory.

1. Duties:

Marketing:

  • Implement seasonal marketing plan with General Manager
  • Drive new member growth through the execution of the marketing plan, including guerilla marketing
  • Promote brand awareness with in-person events as needed.

Operations:

  • Execute all preseason preparation to ensure the best possible experience
  • Report Preseason Inventory list and supply needs to General Manager.
  • Organization of storage facilities
  • Complete coaches’ bags and organizing uniforms
  • Field & Game Schedule Mocks
  • Strategic equipment planning
  • Full availability on weekends and weekday evenings to act as a point of contact on game days for all PT staff.
  • Provide training and development of all game day staff, providing end-of-season recommendations to the General Manager
  • Provide program rule feedback to the entire team for growth and change.
  • Ensure venues have needed inventory to properly execute programs.
  • Manage all aspects of operating the league, equipment transportation, Customer Service on and off the fields, and maintaining all expectations of PT staff.
  • Maintain a strong business relationship with site managers to ensure all venues are running with the same standards
  • Effectively communicate to customers, written and verbally, to drive registrations for a season and provide details/expectations during the season, including addressing and resolving customer complaints.
  • Proactively converse with coaches and parents to solicit constructive feedback for immediate implementation.
  • Engage with select seasonal survey respondents to retrieve additional constructive feedback on game day operations and provide recommendations to General Manager.

4. Qualifications

  • -Must be over the age of 21 and willing to undergo a background check.
  • Graduation from high school (College degree preferred)
  • Background in Recreation or Physical Education, or Customer Service Management
  • Background in coaching sports skills or leading children's activities
  • One year of Manager experience preferred

Territory Location

  • East Montgomery County-Whitemarsh, Abington, Wyndmoor, Blue Bell, Plymouth Meeting, and surrounding areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay

  • Meadowbrook, PA 19046: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
