Position Summary

The TRIA Certified Athletic Trainer will oversee daily clinic flow by assisting the provider with standard rooming, clinical procedures, casting, triage, after visit education, rehabilitation, and care for TRIA patients that is within the scope of practice of the Certified Athletic Trainer. Provide communication to area high schools and colleges on athlete injury status and return to play. Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a professional role model within the clinic. Represent TRIA Orthopaedic Center Sports Medicine Program by providing athletic training services at games and events as directed by the sports medicine program manager where TRIA is designated as the medical provider. Represent TRIA at Marketing events and activities. Will represent self and TRIA based on the TRIA Employee Traits and will maintain a positive attitude and the highest level of professionalism across all duties. Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred. 1-5 years of experience required. Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer required. Current Registration with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice required. NATA member in good standing. Must have valid driver’s license and meet the insurability requirement relating to Park Nicollet’s motor vehicle violation criteria. Strong clinical and human relations skills are required. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, and maintains standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the NATA and BOC. Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required. Excellent interpersonal, listening, critical thinking and organizational skills. Team player that collaborates to achieve highest outcomes.

TRIA Orthopedic Urgent Care in Bloomington is seeking an Athletic Trainer to work in our fast paced Orthopedic Urgent Care environment. The position will include 12 and 8 hour shifts including a weekend rotation. TRIA Orthopedic Urgent Care is open 7 days per week 8am-8pm and closed all major holidays.
