Overview:
Responsibilities:Position Summary:Ensures all aspects of the distribution center operates efficiently. Ensures all customer orders are processed, sales and customer service requests followed. Manpower properly planned and budget/cost levels met. The Assistant Distribution Manager will be used to groom or prepare for future leadership positions by creating managers with a broad base of distribution knowledge.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Develops and implements logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution and inventory of finished products in order to enhance product flow.
- Assists in the development of policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
- Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
- Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
General:

- Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field.

- Quality Experience in a Medical Device/ Pharma Background Desired

Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 06-08 years related experience required.
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
