Job Description
Walnut Street Theatre, America’s oldest theatre and one of the nation’s most financially stable arts organizations, is accepting resumes for the position of Associate Ticketing Services Manager. The successful candidate must lead by example, providing a high level of customer service for the ticket service agents to model. They must also be adept at scheduling, creating and analyzing reports, and be extremely organized and able to flourish in a fast-paced environment. Previous ticket office/theatre experience preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities for said position shall include, but are not limited to:
- Exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, working as a liaison with Box Office and other departments.
- Staffing the phone charge office: hiring, training, scheduling, monitoring and terminating such personnel in accordance with Walnut practices.
- Maintaining a sufficient back up staff and plan.
- Learning Ticketmaster Systems including Archtics, Engage, TM One and providing and overseeing training of Phone Charge staff on Archtics Ticketing System.
- Following all procedures and directions of the Ticketing Services Manager.
- Working with the marketing and development offices to increase sales through upselling and through targeted marketing programs through phone charge.
- All reporting functions of phone center sales.
- Occasional lobby duty as scheduled by Ticketing Services Manager.
