At Genesys, we’re working to build the highest quality Multicloud delivery pipeline based in Azure to support Genesys Engage. It’s built from the ground-up in the cloud and we’re looking for DevOps Pipeline and Infrastructure engineers to deliver the tools needed to enable a flawless production deployment on time, every time.

What you’ll do:

  • This role is at the cutting edge of DevOps and cloud native architecture. Our mission is to systematize resilience and recoverability across hundreds of services running at massive scale. We are a handful of engineers inventing the tools, techniques and culture to enable our teams to keep up with the demand for our platform.
  • Develop an end-to-end automated CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop tools and frameworks for use by all service team engineers.
  • Ensure a high degree of availability across all of our service offerings.
  • Be proficient in one or more cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Identify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure.
  • Drive efficiencies in systems and processes: capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, monitoring and root cause analysis.
  • Participates in code, design, and pipeline reviews.

Who you are:

  • Understanding of Linux applications deployed in a production environment.
  • Experience developing / managing / working with CI/CD pipelines in AWS, Azure, or Google.
  • Experience with REST-style web services / APIs.
  • Experience developing in Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies a plus
  • Have applied systems engineering principles for scaling mission critical service applications.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new software, frameworks, open source tools and development languages.
  • Fluency with cloud-native languages, tools and technologies like Git, Jenkins, Javascript, Java, and Python. Have a better toolbox? Bring it on.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud IaaS & PaaS Platforms – preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Experience with container-based architecture, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
