Position Overview

With the ever-changing role of video, content, and dynamic experiences on Tik Tok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest. We must dedicate equal time to the HOW and the WHAT. You will maintain and develop our relationship with platforms and bring to life social-first ideas in collaboration with a cross-functional team – including digital marketing, global marketing, insights and creative. As a team member, this role will contribute to the digital and social innovation for Ralph Lauren across all platforms. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the strategic thinking and insights-led storytelling for our social platforms, in dynamic partnership with our digital team. Success in the role will come from developing a strong knowledge of social media best practices, challenging norms to create best-in-class storytelling, possessing a strong grasp of the competitive landscape of luxury, fashion and lifestyle on social, and demonstrating creativity in strategizing and ideating social-first content in a dynamic way.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the content management and execution of social content to continuously improve, innovate and drive growth, translating the heritage of the Ralph Lauren brand to a digital-first audience.
  • Manage the social calendar and planning to ensure social has an always-on presence.
  • Manage the creative deliverable cycle including initial planning, implementation, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the Ralph Lauren digital landscape and track competitor trends to ensure Ralph Lauren continues to engage with a new generation of digital-first consumers
  • Work collaborative with internal and external partners to support on both current and new marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with wider teams to apply insights-driven and data-led strategies to campaign and social content/activations –ensuring content is optimized across all platforms
  • Champion "digital first" thinking by scouring the global marketplace to bring new ideas/trends/innovations to Ralph Lauren brand.
  • Assist in concepting social strategies and storytelling that ladder back to marketing priorities and business goals
  • Support on all social needs across brand campaigns, special projects, and social-first activations.


Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of social media marketing trends, best practices, and platform strategy.
  • Experience successfully integrating talent into social-first content; a portfolio of work that shows your ability to help drive breakthrough talent integration in social campaigns
  • Be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well collaborative with a team-player mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of creativity and strategic vision
  • Demonstrated track record of working in a matrixed organization, where leading by influencing is a key characteristic of your success.
  • Excellent (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time-management and project management skills.
  • Understanding and experience within the luxury, fashion and / or lifestyle industry a must.
