You will organize and lead a cross-functional scrum team through the Product Development Process from initiation to release and plan and lead the scrum team through agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprints, and demos. The Associate Scrum Master acts as a liaison and primary point of contact between the scrum team(s) and product management, product development, and other stakeholder teams and manages the process of the sprint; identifying and escalating distractions and barriers that impede or slow scrum team progress. You will monitor key metrics, such as quality and speed compared to scope, goals and objectives, and provide regular updates to the scrum team and key stakeholders. Other responsibilities include modeling agile methodologies, tools and best practices and facilitating collaborative cooperation and consensus within the scrum team and across other stakeholders through coordination and effective communication. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computers Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of product development process or project management work experience
- At least 1 year of scrum or agile project management work experience
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)- Scrum Alliance
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)- Scrum.org
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)- Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Must be willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Live in or near the Kansas City, MO area
