Job Description

Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Plant Manager, you will manage the staffing processes for all positions at Conagra's Council Bluffs, Iowa facility. Build and maintain relationships with candidates. Perform candidate pre-screens according to guidelines and make recommendations to business partners. Build staffing strategies to help attract and retain talent.

You Will:

  • Manage full life cycle of recruiting process from specification through the employment offer
  • Execute staffing strategies including enhancing diverse recruitment efforts
  • Leverage industry-specific partnerships for networking purposes
  • Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate and summarize relevant experience
  • Present candidate pool along with assessments and makes hiring recommendations to managers
  • Develop and maintain candidate slates for our positions
  • Develop online talent communities to develop candidate pipeline
  • Conduct recruitment needs assessments with hiring managers
  • Provide consultative, support for challenging staffing needs
  • Maintain metrics to track candidates through the recruitment process
  • Provide insights on market trends, salaries, and strategies to hiring managers
  • Champion employment brand to potential candidates and market us as an employer of choice
  • Educate candidates around the employment brand message, our vision and mission
  • Evaluate and identify areas within the current sourcing model to achieve efficiency and productivity
  • Manage multiple open requisitions at a time

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree
  • 1+ years of professional experience with full-life-cycle recruiting
  • Experience in using social media tools, such as LinkedIn, as a candidate identification and development tool
  • Knowledge of the internet, search engines, networking sites, job boards and industry associations/niche websites
  • Ability to assess talent and make recommendations to the business
