Associate Strategist, Experience Strategy

We’re searching for an Associate Strategist, Experience Strategy who can support our team with efficient, thorough, and thoughtful market data analysis and research that serves as the foundation for insights-driven advertising campaigns and the development of digital products and services.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Seek and analyze secondary data and reporting to inform creative development of advertising campaigns and digital experiences:
- Audience data and reporting from sources like GWI, MRI, etc.
- Consumer, cultural and market trends, from daily news sources, ad industry resources, sector coverage (e.g., financial services)
- Long form research reports from sources like Forrester, Mintel, Iconoculture, etc.
- Collect and review competitive intelligence (brand messaging, advertising, digital experience, channel strategy, creative approach) to synthesize key themes and observations.
- Work with our Data and Analysis and media teams to gather and synthesize key takeaways from site analytics, media reporting, social listening, etc.
- Support in the development and implementation of primary quantitative research, which may include assisting in survey design, programming, managing research partners, data analysis, etc.
- Support in the development and analysis of qualitative primary research, such as reviewing focus group footage, interview transcripts, usability and creative testing participant videos, etc. to summarize key themes and observations, etc.
- With the guidance of the research team manipulate and cut primary and secondary data to support project need
Support in the creation of clear, organized and well-designed presentations internally, to share-out research summaries and findings with key teammates
Qualifications
- A four-year degree (English/journalism, creative writing, marketing/communication strategy, anthropology, psychology or cultural studies preferred)
- 1-2 years of work experience preferred, in marketing or research team, copywriter, SEO consultant, an advertising agency account planning department, brand consultancy or consulting firm
- Ability to turn around high-quality work on quick timelines, and to proactively coordinate your workload with managers
- Curious, inquisitive personality that leaves no stone unturned when gathering research and information
- A working knowledge of the basics of qualitative and quantitative research (questionnaires, experiments observation, and interviews for insights generation, to reviewing analytics and media reporting for analysis)
- Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills
- Can-do attitude and willingness to work outside of a standard comfort zone
- Experience with MS Office applications like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
