Job Description

The Opportunity:

G1 Therapeutics is currently recruiting the Associate Director, Commercial Supply Chain and Logistics, to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC. Reporting to the Senior Director, Technical Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the supply chain and logistics (SCL) program for COSELA®, our first commercial product. The ideal candidate possesses the knowledge, experience, and business acumen necessary to successfully maintain robust supply chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs for the product. Relationship management skills will be key to the incumbent’s success since G1 uses contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) for all commercial manufacturing and distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as G1’s SCL and ERP Subject Matter Expert and support other internal functions, as necessary
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) program • Maintain efficient and effective inventory management and risk mitigation strategiesWork closely with Pharmaceutical Development, Chemical Development, Clinical Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Market Access, Information Technology, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure life-cycle management, site transfer, and scale-up programs are integrated into the master SCL plan
  • Maintain comprehensive serialization program • Manage SCL operating budget
  • Prepare performance reports (metrics/KPIs) and present to senior management, as appropriate
  • Maintain corporate policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for distribution and sale of a pharmaceutical product • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance SCL and ERP performance
  • Travel to domestic and international vendor sites and meetings, as necessary (<10%)
  • Other duties as assigned

The incumbent possesses the following attributes:

  • BS/BA in science, business, or management with 8+ years of SCL experience, of which 5+ years has been in pharmaceutical SCL
  • Comprehensive understanding of GxP and other regulatory requirements associated with SCL
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, time management, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in industry standard software applications
  • APICS certification beneficial
